Children's Ministries

Master Clubs

Masterclubs

At Northwest Baptist Church, we want children to develop a desire to know God and His Word. Our Master Clubs program for children 3 years old–6th grade presents the Bible in a way children enjoy and understand. Throughout the year, children learn memory verses, compete in games, and hear age-appropriate Bible lessons that help them apply the great truths of the Bible to their lives. Each staff member is well trained and ready to help your child learn more about God. We provide all the materials and fun FREE of cost to you!

Children's Sunday School Services

9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Children ages 3 years old through Kindergarten meet in the Beginner Classroom

Children 1st grade through 3rd grade meet in the Primary Classroom

Children 4th grade through 6th grade meet in the Junior Classroom

In each classroom, children are presented with stories from the King James Bible that include a Bible story and emphasize an applicable truth for children. Lessons are supplemented with review questions, a memory verse, a craft and/or an activity sheet. We currently are using Answers Bible Curriculum (ABC). Our goal is to present the gospel to these young ones to train them to know, obey, and respect God's Word. All workers have been through an annual Child Safety Certification program and have background checks. We have cameras in every classroom and at least 2 certified adults are present at all times.

Children's Church Services

10:45 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Children ages 4 through 3rd grade

The children gather together in one classroom where they are presented with stories from the King James Bible that include a Bible story and emphasize an applicable truth for children. Lessons are supplemented with review questions, a memory verse, a craft and/or an activity sheet. If time permits, an Object Lesson may also be used. For the year 2020, we are using “Stories of Grace” published by Striving Together Publications. Our goal is to present the gospel to these young ones to train them to know, obey, and respect God's Word. All workers have been through an annual Child Safety Certification program and have background checks. We have cameras in every classroom and at least 2 certified adults are present at all times.

Please Note: We provide a small bottle of water as well as a selection of snacks to the children, allowing them to pick out which snack they would like that we have available. If parents do not want them to have the snacks that we provide, we respectfully request that the parents provide an appropriate snack for them to eat when the other children are having their snack.

Summer Missionary Adventure

Child With Globe

During the summer months, we pause Master Clubs and enjoy the Missionary Adventure! This is a time where our children learn about our missionaries, the countries they come from, and their culture. They play games from that country and enjoy some food local to the area. Then they write letters to the missionary. It's a great time for our children to have fun and learn about one of our most important ministries!

Today's Verse

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
